Sustainability

The responsibility
of beauty

A jewel lasts for generations. So does the mark we leave while creating it. Shusha treats uniting beauty with responsibility not as a choice, but as a commitment.

Our approach

Lasting value, light footprint

Diamond and gold are values nature has accumulated over millions of years. Respecting that value means making responsible decisions at every stage — from the stone’s source to the craft in the atelier, from packaging to the product’s lifetime. For us, sustainability must be as timeless as the jewel itself.

Our commitments

Four core principles

We divide our responsibility into concrete areas, aiming to take measurable steps in each.

01

Responsible sourcing

The diamonds we source come through channels aligned with the conflict-free commitment and Kimberley Process principles. We never add a stone we don’t trust the origin of to our collection.

02

Traceability

Our stones are documented with independent laboratory certificates; we value that their journey from source to showcase can be followed transparently.

03

Recycled gold

To reduce the impact of new mining, we favour reclaimed precious metals, bringing gold and platinum back to life without compromising their purity.

04

Ethical craft & people

Production in our own atelier under fair, safe conditions — and protecting the tradition of craftsmanship and the people who carry it — is a core priority.

The frameworks we follow

Our sourcing standards

We adhere to internationally recognised frameworks and build our supply chain around these principles.

Recycled Gold

Value reborn

Gold is one of the rare materials that can be recycled endlessly without losing any of its properties. By refining reclaimed gold we reduce the need for new mining — same purity, same warmth, a far lighter environmental footprint. Melting an old heirloom into a new design is the most personal form of this cycle.

Circular jewellery

One lifetime, then another

The most sustainable jewel is the one used for generations. Three services make that possible.

01

Repair

With lifetime care, cleaning and repair, your jewel keeps its first-day brilliance.

02

Restoration

We redesign an old piece, reusing its stone and metal to carry it into the present.

03

Buy-back & Handover

With buy-back and exchange rights on certified stones, value stays in the cycle rather than going to waste.

Transparency

A responsible choice

The source of a stone, the cycle of a gold, or the future of your jewel — we’re glad to answer any question on your mind. Transparency is the foundation of trust.
