Craftsmanship & Atelier
The memory of the hand,
the light of the stone
Every Shusha jewel is born patiently and quietly, by the hands of master artisans in our Istanbul atelier.
Since 1998
A quarter-century goldsmithing tradition
Shusha draws its roots from Istanbul’s historic goldsmithing heritage. We believe a jewel’s worth lies not only in its stone, but in the mastery of the hand that shapes it. From design to final polish, every stage is completed in our own atelier, under the eye of our own masters.
From atelier to jewel
A journey through six hands
A Shusha jewel is completed in about six weeks, passing through six meticulous stages.
Design & Sketch
Each piece begins with a hand-drawn sketch, then is rendered to precise measurements with 3D modelling.
Stone Selection — 4C
Certified diamonds are examined one by one for cut, clarity, colour and carat.
Wax Modelling & Casting
A wax model is prepared; 14K or 18K gold takes form through precision casting.
Handwork & Setting
Each stone is set into its mount by hand, at the angle that best returns the light.
Polishing & Rhodium
The surface is polished for hours; white gold is rhodium-plated for a deep brilliance.
Quality Control & Certificate
Every jewel that passes final inspection ships with a GIA / IGI certificate and the Shusha guarantee.

Gold & Metal
The right measure of purity
When you set a stone in place, you think of the person who will wear it a hundred years from now. Mastery is that patience.
